Nursery School

The Nursery is a kind and caring place for children to start their experience of school and to develop a love of learning.  It has direct access to an outside garden, which is a secure play area with safe, interesting play equipment.  The staff nurture the children, who can then move onto the Lower School at Devonshire House School.  The School takes pupils through to their entry to Senior Schools and there is a strong sense of family and community.

Children can start in the Nursery Acorns in the School Year following their 2nd birthday, with occasional in-year admissions depending on availability.

Nursery Acorns Options for Monday to Friday sessions:

Half Day

  • Morning: 8.45am to 11.45am

Full Day

  • 8.45am to 3.00pm

Many new families join the School into this age group.

“Warm support from the teachers and her classmates, when our daughter first arrived at DHP”.
